WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

One last set. That’s it. That’s it, lift. These are the words that would constantly run through my mind while picking up my last set of free weights. With the added on weight of college books and literal weight, the gym is a true stress reliever. The gym not only provides physical health, but mental health as well. With our busy schedules, we all just feel like laying around in our pajamas and watching Netflix. But hey, you have to make sacrifices.

Going to the gym should definitely not stop you from not only feeling your best, but looking your best. You might see some people wearing a raggedy old shirt with holes, while you might also see someone else sporting a neon orange full-sleeve shirt. You should go the extra mile and still try to look your best! I am a strong believer in confidence! If you feel good, you look good. So please, next time you go to the gym, don’t throw on a shirt with holes.

Luckily, I found a Fashionisto who not only was ready for his next run, but for his next run to class. Literally…he was getting late. The Fashionisto wore a black pair of Nike nylon running shorts, along with a gray T-shirt. He also wore a camouflage printed pair of Nike sneakers that are not only good for the gym, but for running day to day errands. The Fashionisto went the extra mile not only during his workout, but in dressing himself as he matched a perfect pair of white Nike socks to the rest of his look. On his back is an everyday North Face backpack, which has a change of clothes and a brand new water bottle. The outfit the Fashionisto wore could be worn to the gym as well as school. The backpack and sneakers stated “casual.” Being comfortable whether in class or lifting weights is key.

One Simple Change: If you want to style a casual yet sporty look to class, switch out the shorts for a solid colored pair of khakis.
