Fashionistas and Fashionistos, I have spent way too much time scrolling through Style.com lately. I love finding new outfit inspirations, keeping up with the current collections and checking out the work of other designers.
This week I was lucky enough to find Animale’s spring collection featuring light and airy sheers, as well as lots of bold patterns, vivid colors and cropped styles. Every look that graced the runway felt so perfect for summer. I couldn’t resist sharing these styles with each of you!
For my own outfit, I chose to mix up my prints a bit—one can never have too many prints. I find them to be easier to pair when combining large and small patterns in similar color schemes. Here I matched the subtle plaid of the pant with the coordinating floral of my cami. I love that the pants have a very tailored fit, similar to Animale’s collection. Their structure complements the loose, flowy silhouette of the top perfectly. A lighter fabric is also fitting for the high temperatures and sunny days.
My favorite part of this outfit has got to be the shoes! I’ve been hunting for this style for months and was so happy to discover these on a recent online shopping binge. They’re super comfy, match almost anything and make such a big statement. They’ve also inspired an unhealthy amount of outfit selfies. Don’t judge me too much, lovelies.
I added a big cuff, coordinating necklace and an ear cuff for a bit of extra sparkle and shine. Overall, I love Animale’s recent collection. Each piece is made modern by featuring bold patterns and colors, but keeps to a very classic aesthetic with tailored silhouettes and simple, clean lines. It’s very trendy and fresh!
