Are you afraid to go out in the rain because you do not want to wear one of those hideous dollar ponchos from the drug store? Fear no more! Rain jackets can be cute and can be the perfect accessory to any outfit. This Fashionista rocked her rain jacket and caught everyone on the streets eye.
Many people think of rain jackets to be dark colors and that tends to go with the mood they are feeling when it is raining, dreary. But, why does rain have to be a bad thing? Let’s turn the day around. This Fashionista said that when she saw it was raining out, she was excited because all she had to do was throw on her rain jacket and did not have to worry about anything else, because it is so cute! The pattern is unlike many raincoats on the market and the bright colors steal the show. On a dark day, a bright-colored jacket will stand out. No more black rain jackets! Besides the color, the bottom of the jacket is scalloped which is completely ordinary and makes it so youthful along with the lace-like pattern.
Rain boots can be a pain to get on and off and they can oftentimes be uncomfortable. This Fashionista said that one day she was shopping in the department store, Bloomingdales, and came across these adorable Burberry rain booties. They only had one pair left and she said that they’re a bit big, so she paired them with riding boot socks that just so happen to match perfectly with the rain jacket.
This outfit all around is so feminine. The lace cream jacket and the ruffled cream socks scream girly and for some reason remind me of Kate Middleton. It’s such an easy outfit to put together for such a crummy day. Not every outfit takes a lot of items to make it a good one such as this, all you need is your bright rain jacket, rain shoes and cute socks, all in the details!
How To: No need to fret over a rainy day or what to wear. Wake up, throw on a pair of skinny jeans and fitted T-shirt that is comfortable, the worst thing is to be uncomfortable in the rain. Then, grab your favorite pair of socks that have a ruffle at the top, they can be knee-highs and folded over or ankle socks, throw on your rain booties and grab your light-colored rain jacket and you’re set to tackle the rain all day, fashionably.
