This week we are talking about what to wear to festivals and any summer concert series! Attending these big, sometimes two to three day concerts means you have to plan your outfits accordingly. Achieving a great outfit for these events is easy with the right items. Celebrities such as Vannessa Ann Hudgens and Sarah Hyland are known for their great shabby chic, bohemian and festival style. If you’re interested in this genre, check out their Coachella looks from the past couple years!
This week’s Fashionista is a music enthusiastic with killer style. She gives us a great example on what to wear during these festivals or outdoor concerts. This look requires sticking with free flowing, lightweight-clothing items which minimizes your discomfort from hot weather issues and leaves you feeling free for dancing!
Her coordinated outfit consists of a couple items. First, her kimono from Urban Outfitters molds the entire outfit together. Kimonos have been popular for the past two summer seasons and really add a hippy-esque vibe to any ensemble. Under her kimono, lies a vintage printed muscle tank with a long, gold chain decal necklace. As for her shorts, she is wearing a pair of light wash, high-waisted shorts from American Apparel. Her vintage sunnies are WILDFOX. Next, her felt flat-billed hat keeps her cool from the hot summer rays. Her black booties add slight height to her all while keeping comfortable and stylish.
One Simple Change: Living in Florida means that most seasons consist of hot temperatures, so wearing shorts are a must. For those that live in colder climates, this outfit can easily be switched around by just adding a high-waisted pair of jeans.
