I’ve quickly learned that if you’re going to experiment with your hair, the best time to do it is in the summer. I find myself getting bored at home and just scrolling through Pinterest with a million “what ifs” rolling through my mind. What if I really did dye my hair purple? What if I got that blue streak? What if I cut it all off in an effort to replicate the famous long bob that celebrities are rocking now?
This Fashionista decided she was done asking questions and found enough courage to ombré her hair. Ombré has been a popular hairstyle. We’ve seen it on Lauren Conrad, Khloe Kardashian and Vanessa Hudgens, just to name a few. Even Internet stars such as Zoe Sugg, most famous for her YouTube channel Zoella, got in on the ombré action.
While it is a bold look, ombré is a great medium if you’re unsure about dying all of your hair. You can choose to keep the original color at the top and let it fade into a different one at the bottom. The best part about this Fashionista’s hair is that she chose to keep a natural color at the bottom such as blonde. It’s still an exciting look without making it inappropriate for any job or internship she may have. It’s also great because it looks good on both short and long hair. This trend will look amazing on anyone!
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? To recreate this look, you will need to find a plain gray T-shirt, some printed shorts and neutral sandals. You will also need a dye kit to recreate the ombré look, or you can go to a nearby professional salon and have it done.
