As summer is upon us and the seasons are rapidly changing, so are the wardrobes of many Fashionistas/os around the world. Around this time, people ditch heavy sweaters and cardigans, and bring out the tank tops and shorts. As they are doing this, most think that they need to buy more and more clothing, and feel as though what they have is not good enough. However, as a Style Guru, I feel that it is important to make due with whatever is in your closet since you may not always have the time or funds to shop for new clothes. Working with what you already have is one of the most important style tips I could ever offer someone.
After asking my Fashionisto where each piece of his outfit came from, I was very excited to hear that he revamped some old  jeans he no longer liked to suit his own style. This definitely would have to be my favorite part about this look; so cute and thrifty! Most people never think of revamping clothing they do not wear anymore. I also love the body art tattoos and the real tattoo on his hand, which only adds more of his personal style to this outfit. Body art tattoos are really a huge trend right now since people want something that will wash off at the end of the day. A white button-down shirt from Wal-Mart, a jean jacket from eBay and his favorite pair of go-to Converse complete this casual, yet fashionable outfit.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Don’t just throw away last season’s jeans or that old dress from high school. Get creative and turn it into something you’ve always wanted to wear; it’s as simple as one, two, three!”
