Summertime is a great time to play and experiment with different types of fabrics, and this season’s runway was filled with gingham. Gingham is such a RAD print because not only does the simple print allow you to dress it up or down, but you can even translate it into different seasons. This is one of my absolute favorite trends because it’s so easy. Taking a basic outfit and incorporating a great trend leaves you with a bold fashion statement!
What I love most about this Fashionisto’s outfit is how he mixed the gingham print with bright colors. First, this Fashionisto started out with a light blue button-down gingham shirt and then paired it with bright orange shorts, both from Vineyard Vines. The orange color adds a fun vibe to a simple look. Also, his big face watch is a great accessory for this simple look. To finish off the look, this Fashionisto is sporting Cole Haan brown loafers.
Get creative and play around with fun patterns like gingham. Sometimes men can get stuck in the habit of throwing on the same old T-shirt over the summer. Don’t be lazy and stock up on tons of gingham. This awesome design has been around for such a long time and won’t be going out of style anytime soon.
