BEAUTY BAR: Bold Lip

It is absolutely no secret that I am an avid lipstick connoisseur, from bright reds to dark pinks, lipstick shades from all across the board continuously add personality to my favorite looks. That being said, whenever I come across a Fashionista who shares my love for lipstick, I am sure to stop her to ask where it’s from. This Fashionista is no exception with her bomb bright pink lipstick and to-die-for eye shadow combination.

This Fashionista uses her spot-on makeup skills to add some color to her otherwise neutral look. She is rocking a pair of light-wash jeans; giving them a new look with a little cuff. Paired on top, she has on a heather gray crop-top; she adds a layer to the look by throwing on a white button-up shirt (I love the way she tied it at her waist)! She dressed up her look a bit with the help of her accessories. For jewelry, she stuck to gold, with her trendy chain necklace, hoop earrings and watch. For shoes she has on an amazing pair of brown, Sam Edleman heeled booties that are absolutely to-die-for.

For makeup, this Fashionista went bold with her bright lip and daring winged eyeliner. Bright lips are one of my absolute favorite things; the small pop of color is the perfect way to spice up a look. Lipstick is also a great way to change up a look you’ve worn before, with such a wide array of shades, the options are endless. This Fashionista reached her desired shade by mixing two CoverGirl Colorlicious lipsticks, one in the shade Enchantress Blush and the other in Succulent Cherry. Mixing two lipsticks is not only a great way to get the shade you desire, but is a sure fire way to give yourself a personalized look. To balance out the look, this Fashionista kept her eye look on the more neutral side with a mix of matte brown shadows. To give her eyes some personality to match her bold lip, she went with a trendy winged eyeliner look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? In order to recreate this bright look, you will need a lipstick in a bold shade, for a long lasting look try out NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream or for a more personalized shade try mixing two colors like this Fashionista did.
