But, everyone knows the way to any Fashionista or Fashionistos’ heart is with a great all black outfit. From Dietrich to Hepburn to Palermo, black is foolproof in any closet at any age. The color has proven to be a time-honored staple in the closets of fashionable people everywhere.
The afternoon, I spotted this Fashionista, it was a typical gray, humid kind of day. This Fashionista’s all black ensemble caught my attention against the grayish backdrop. The jean is a fantastic high rise black jean featuring a button closure. The higher rise on the jeans is a great compromise for anyone who is self-conscious wearing a crop top. The crop top is of a silky material allowing it to create an adorable pleating detail at the neckline. The combination of a silky top and a great pair of jeans make a great day and night outfit for most occasions.
The accessories are minimal but have a maximum impact here. Upon closer inspection of the Fashionista’s outfit, I noticed an interesting mix of metals and textures. Mixing metals in your jewelry is a great way to add an edge to your look and gives you the opportunity to wear some your favorite pieces together. This Fashionista decided to keep her jewelry on her hands and wrists so as not to detract from the neckline of her top. The mixed metal plays off the metallic leather strap of the bracelet. Here, the silver-tone ring looks perfectly at home near the shining stones on the bracelet.
