Covergirl. A look we all want to achieve; flawless, fresh-faced, natural, effortless beauty. No better place to find inspiration for your inner Covergirl than this Hamptons’ Fashionista. Summer is all about letting your skin breathe. This Fashionista let her sun kissed skin shine through and kept her makeup clean and simple. Forget face makeup, her style is all about the eyes.
You can achieve her look with seven essential products. The focus is on eye makeup, so five of the seven products are used for a dramatic, glamorous but still light and summery eye. Start with Mary Kay Mineral Eye color applied to the lid prior to using any of the other products. Consider it a primer substitute. Next apply MAC Pressed Pigment to the lower lid only. Do not use this product above the lid’s natural crease. Remember to always apply eyeliner after eye shadows. This Fashionista created a thin line using MAC Pro Long Eye Liner. Avoid a thick or heavy line. This look incorporates of a lot of dark colors and too much eyeliner can take this look from glam to goth. A touch of Lancôme High Definition mascara elongates the lashes; and a dab of MAC Shimmer eye shadow just above the eyeliner and on the bottom lid add a bit of sparkle. Our Fashionista’s light, summer glow, does not require a lot of face makeup so pull the look together and finish with NYX Cosmetics Matte lipstick. Add some loose beachy waves and finger comb them out to give your hair that “fresh off the beach” appearance.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? These products come in an array of different shades, choose the ones that complement your complexion and follow the steps above.
