Class in the summer? Ugh, as if! Summer used to be a time for sunny days spent by the pool and worry free nights with your friends. Unfortunately as we get older, summer becomes more about how much class and work you can fit into a three month period. No one is necesarily thrilled to be taking classes during this perfect time of year but you can still spice up your days with fun outfit choices! I caught up with this Fashionista in her ’90s-inspired outfit thats perfect for walking from building to building in style.
This Fashionista pulled inspiration from Cher Horowitz and Kelly Kapowski pairing distressed high-waisted jeans from American Eagle Outfitters with a semi cropped, striped T-shirt. She then stayed true to the ’90s by throwing her hair in a fun half up half down do!
Since in Athens we walk basically everywhere, sandals aren’t always the most practical option when throwing on your shoes for the day. This Fashionista opted for a pair of black Mossimo Supply Co. slip-ons, a more fashionable twist on the original sneaker. To spice up her look when running out the door she threw on a black and white speckled leather backpack from Target proving that backpacks don’t have to be boring to be functional!
Next time your shuffling through your drawers to get dressed for class. Put those sweat pants and flip flops to the side and remember that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort to to stay stylish!
One Simple Change:Â Don’t have time to go run home and change before heading over to the gym? No Problem! Just pack a pair of athletic leggings in that backpack of yours and you’ll be ready to hit the gym right after class!
