I absolutely adore mint green. Why? It’s one of the closest colors to Tiffany & Co. blue without having to break the bank by going and buying an actual item. This Fashionista is keeping cool this summer in the cutest mint based outfit I have seen so far!
It all starts with the head bow. This Fashionista’s head bow is about the size of my palm, and is the perfect accessory for any sweet and cute outfit. This Fashionista bought her hair bow in Toronto from someone who hand makes them. However, Forever 21 has very cheap options for those who want a little more bang for your buck and a little bit more versatility!
This Fashionista is wearing a skater skirt. A skater skirt is a perfect option for those who feel that they want the extra shape. Since a skater skirt flares out, it gives extra shape in the back area. One of the most stylish and practical things about this skirt is the bow. The bow acts as pseudo belt for the skirt, so that you can tighten it and make sure that it’s not going anywhere. Although this isn’t a hard and structured bow like the accessory worn in this Fashionista’s hair, it does add an extra element that matches. The skirt is also a good length for the summer. I usually opt for a skirt that hits mid-thigh when I sit. Sometimes when you stand, a skirt has the tendency to hike up to that mid thigh length. So try sitting down in the change room when you’re trying on a skirt. If it passes the test you won’t have to worry about your skirt being too short, leaving you comfortable and safe from any unwanted attention. A mid thigh skirt like this Fashionista’s definitely aces my skirt test!
A nice simple gray T-shirt goes with almost every single colored bottom. Gray is a nice change from wearing the usual plain white or black T-shirt. What I absolutely adore about this T-shirt is the V-neck, neck line. The neck line shows a little bit of the collar bone helps to elongate the neck, which then highlights the face.
Last  but not least, this Fashionista has a cute and delicate mint clutch that matches perfectly with her skirt and her hair bow. The entire outfit is minimalist and looks effortless. To stay within that style, a simple clutch is the perfect choice. In this case, less is more.
How To: Start by picking your favorite color of course! This Fashionista’s color is perfect for the summer because not only is it light, but it feels fresh and clean! Try to avoid super dark colors to get this look. An incredibly dark color weighs the outfit down and won’t have the same breezy effect as a light pastel color. Â Then pick super cute accessories to match that are the same color. The ultimate rule to go by if you want to look just as effortless and sweet as this Fashionista, is to keep it simple.
