Lazy Sundays are well spent snuggling up in your comfy bed or sitting on your couch binge watching the latest season of Orange is the New Black. However, some of us like to get out of our house on Sunday mornings and go to the farmers market or hit up the movies. This Fashionista was doing just that and wanted some fresh air on her Sunday morning! I caught up with this Fashionista as she was just finishing up designing pottery at Pottery Fun in southeast Portland.
For me when it comes to weekend wear, I love to dress very comfortably—especially on Sundays. Sundays are a time for me to wind down and relax after the busy week I just had. This Fashionista had the same philosophy and dressed comfortably casual. She wore a light blue long sleeve shirt and paired it with dark skinny jeans. She finished her outfit with all black Converse and her Portland Community College messenger bag. This outfit is super casual and is perfect for the weekend. It adds versatility and flexibility for also running errands on the weekends.
Whenever I look at this Fashionista’s outfit, it screams summer. In particular, I really like the Fashionista’s top. It is very cute and a perfect color for the summer. The light mint blue offers a subtleness to her outfit, but also brightens up her whole look.
One Simple Change: Do last minute dinner plans make you want to change your day look to a night look? Swap out the sneakers for heels and throw on a black leather jacket or blazer. You will look more put together and chic. Ditch the messenger bag and finish the outfit with a gold necklace and a black clutch.
