One of the first unwritten rules of being a New Yorker is how to properly style black-on-black outfits. Although I am a born and raised New Yorker, I have always had trouble with successfully pulling off this look. Leopard print is best styled when it is the main focal point. If you pair leopard print with any other type of print, the prints may clash. This will make your outfit look dizzy and cluttered.
This Fashionista pieced together her outfit very well since the rest of her pieces are black and silver. Her shirtdress allows her ensemble to look put together, especially with the sleeves rolled up. Her shoulder bag gives her the appearance of sophistication and professionalism, which perfectly contrast her leopard loafers. What better way to top the outfit off than with a simple silver ring and a Marc Jacobs watch with a simple black band?
