As a college student working towards a career, internships are a must, but so many of us college students run into the “What To Wear” question when it comes to adapting to the environment you are working in.
The safest bet for an internship look is to pair some tailored, patterned pants with a blouse and some simple heels or flats. This look never fails and this Fashionista rocked it down the streets of Georgetown. To tie the look together, she carried a boss-lady Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. tote that could fit all of her internship accessories (i.e. a laptop, a notebook, pens). I have this exact same Rebecca Minkoff tote in navy and I LOVE it. It’s such a mature, classic bag that makes anyone look confident. Lastly, to make her look trendy, she decided to wear some ear jackets from Zara. The ear jackets are a kind of earring like no other and have only recently become a stylish accessory that the whole fashion industry is buzzing about. Side note: if you want to go for a little more of a conservative look by covering your shoulders at the office, you can easily do so with a light blazer!
So, where can you find the rest of this Fashionista’s internship look? She bought her pants at H&M, her top from Topshop and her necklace from Urban Outfitters. Happy shopping and I wish you the best of luck with your internship outfit!
One Simple Change: Quickly turn this outfit into one for a girl’s night out by simply switching out the Rebecca Minkoff tote for a cute little clutch. Easy as pie!
