Adding pops of color in your OOTD can give you just the right amount of drama. This Fashionista caught my eye with her stunning coral lips and her glamorous inner corner eye shimmer.
She is an aspiring teacher and was helping out at a camp this week on campus. She wanted to look “classroom appropriate” while also adding a little spice with her own personal style. She chose a lightweight, solid chiffon coral tank top to accompany her adorable chevron patterned maxi skirt. She went with a short denim jacket to give her look that teacher-esque feel, along with a navy and light blue necklace form Rue21 and simple white sandals from Nine West to accent the pattern in the skirt.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? As far as makeup goes, this Fashionista knows just how hard it can be to get makeup to look good with and without glasses. She pulls off the look ever so effortlessly! For starters, this Fashionista likes to use her Sigma brushes to apply her foundations and eye shadows. Next, she wanted to accommodate her cute coral top with the head-turning “Chichi” from Colourpop Lippie Stix. For her lids, she used Makeup Geek eye shadows, and Mylar by MAC for the inner eye shimmer that helps widen her eyes, making them seem bigger and brighter. She knows that in order for her peers to see the eye shadow, she has to add shadow slightly above her crease, a little higher than what she normally would when she just wears her contacts. Adding a darker color on the outside helped make her eyes look wider and bigger, since glasses tend to make the eyes look smaller. Don’t be a victim of your glasses; make them an accessory! Don’t be afraid to be a little more dramatic with your lids, and let your natural beauty shine through.
