Fashion seasons are always amazing to me! Each season, designers showcase their take on the world through the fabulous clothes they design. One of my favorite designers is Olivier Rousteing of Balmain. Olivier’s designs are truly revolutionary! The Balmain women’s collections always present women as being elegant and powerful! Using earth tones, structured pieces and a variety of necklines, the Balmain resort 2016 collection has stuck to its glamorous depiction of femininity in a refreshed way this season.
My favorite trend of the Balmain resort 2016 collection? The pantsuits, of course! Every season I look forward to Olivier’s take on the modern woman in a pantsuit. Featuring plunging necklines, formfitting and polyester, the pantsuits of this collection create a feeling of elegance, romance and power. Three elements that are perfect for the modern Fashionista!
Inspired by these elements, I created a pantsuit look perfect for a quick lunch with my best friends that also transitions into date night attire! Keeping with the trend of Earth tones in the collection, I chose to wear a teal polyester pantsuit with a plunging neckline. This pantsuit was perfect for my plans; teal is a great color to transition from day to night! To give the look a summer feel, accessories were important. I opted to complete the look with an orange and cream bag, nude heels and two similar necklaces. Thus far, this is one of my favorite looks. Not only did I look rad, I also felt amazing.
