As summer is slowly coming to an end, the nights become a bit more chilly. I chose an outfit of mine that would work perfectly for a full day adventure. Whether you are going to an amusement park or headed towards a full family vacation, this outfit will fit your needs. I was originally inspired through Acne Studios fall 2015 ready-to-wear runway show. I thought they did an amazing job with plaid print and I especially fell in love with look three. Lately, I’ve been straying away from anything too girly and instead I’m loving the more masculine look on women.
I chose this outfit because I love plaid and I thought it was important to incorporate it into a summer outfit! I started off with a simple white tank top that’s outlined in lace towards the bottom. This top is super light and airy, which is perfect for the sweltering heat that is Los Angeles. It keeps the top half of my body nice and breezy. For my bottoms, I chose some cheeky shredded, black high-waisted shorts. Since they were a bit cheeky, I chose to throw on my plaid button up around my waist. It splashed a bit of color onto my outfit and is perfect to throw on as the night cools.
I accessorized with a clear gem necklace with a gold chain. It gave my casual outfit a little more glamour. Next, I wore my Roshe Run Nikes. These shoes are simple and cute and are definitely perfect for adventurous days. They’ll keep you comfy while still maintaining a clean look.
Overall, this look is great for a summer adventure, and of course, summer vacation isn’t complete without one!
