Hey there Fashionistas/os! Today my very own look was inspired by the Valentino fall 2015 couture runway show. The Valentino fall 2015 couture line portrayed various different outfits including black and gold embroidery and bold red ribbon. However, the dress that inspired me the most was the fifth that was displayed during the runway show. Overall, this look displayed a simple black dress with thin delicate straps and gold accents. Here I put a cool twist on this Valentino couture as it inspired my own personal summer style.
Here you can see me wearing a simple black sundress. Like the Valentino dress my sundress also has a simple cut and delicate straps. Although this dress displays a lot of simplicity, the overall cut and style of the dress makes for a flattering summer look. Unfortunately, my black dress did not have any trace of gold accents. However, since I was inspired by the gold details that I saw in the Valentino dress, I decided to add my own accents. In other words I decided to wear a cross-body bag with a gold chain and a pair of gold aviator sunglasses. Wearing the cross-body allowed for the gold chain of the bag to lie directly on the black fabric of my dress. Additionally, the gold accents of my sunglasses were also quite visible against my dark brown hair. By simply adding these accessories, I was able to create my own gold accents for my simple black dress. Now all you have to do is pair a black dress and your own gold accents to get my Valentino-inspired look!
