Everyone who knows my style knows that 75 percent of my wardrobe consists of black clothing. Although I love black, I feel that it’s very important to add some color to your wardrobe in order to keep your outfits looking fun and fresh.
This Fashionista clearly loves rocking the all-black trend, but she’s also not afraid to add some color to her wardrobe as well. I love that she wore black leggings with a fancier, maroon, flowy tank top because the outfit is both comfortable and cute. Under her top she wore a halter lace black bralette, which is another trend we’ve been seeing a lot of this summer.
Most importantly, the trend she’s rocking that completes her outfit is her stackable necklaces. Stackable necklaces are great for adding some jewelry to a look without adding too much bling or color like a statement necklace for example. The key to finding perfect matches when looking for stackable necklaces is to make sure they all sit on your neck at different lengths so that you can see each pendent. Another helpful tip is to add different shapes and sizes. For example, when I wear stackable necklaces I love to wear some smaller charms and some horizontal charms to add some dimension to the look.
Another great way to add some color to an all-black ensemble is to incorporate color into your makeup like this Fashionista did. She matched her lip color to the color of her shirt, and this really tied the outfit together.
How To: Get this Fashionista’s look by grabbing yourself some black leggings, a loose colorful top, a black lace halter bralette and some stackable necklaces. To complete the outfit, add a gray cross-body bag with a chain strap, and be sure to add a colorful lipstick color to give your look a pop.
