Concerts are one of my favorite things in the world. I love music, and being able to see your favorite artists perform live is an experience you can never forget. I recently attended a concert in Santa Monica with this Fashionista. Some of my favorite musical artists performed including Matt and Kim, Saint Motel, James Bay and many others. Since it was going to be outside on the pier, we knew it was going to be hot. This Fashionista found the perfect way to look cool in more ways that one.
My favorite part of this outfit was the sundress this Fashionista chose. It was a bright floral print that was full of fun colors. Summer is all about being bright and carefree, which is exactly what this dress represented. I loved how the red and the blue contrasted each other without looking like this Fashionista was getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July. A bright, floral sundress is a perfect thing to wear to a concert.
This Fashionista paired her sundress with a pair of white Converse All-Stars. Adding a pair of sneakers to this look was such a smart move, especially for an outdoor event. By choosing a pair of sneakers, this Fashionista was not only fashionable, but comfortable as well. A huge thing that people do at concerts is dance, which is something you wouldn’t be able to do in uncomfortable heels.
For accessories, this Fashionista kept it simple. She cinched the dress with a braided belt. This added a summery vibe and really showed off her figure. For jewelry, a simple necklace was all that was needed. This was smart because you don’t want to be jumping around at a concert and making a racket with some chunky jewelry. These simple accessories were stylish, yet didn’t get in the way. This Fashionista was free to rock on without having to worry about a wardrobe malfunction.
One Simple Change: If you’re somewhere a little chilly, throw on a denim jacket. You’ll look cool while keeping warm.
