My bags are packed, and (most of) my decor shopping for my new apartment has been done. It’s that time when we have to finally say “sayonara” to summer and have to head back to our respective schools and universities. The days of lying on the beach for eight hours, backyard barbecues, getting one too many coconut iced coffees at the local coffee shop (me) and carefully planned family vacations are unfortunately over.
While I am planning my own little funeral for summer, I can’t help but be excited for all that this fall has to bring. Cozy sweaters, jeans, boots and football games are stuck on my mind. If your school is anything like mine, you can start wearing your big sweaters in October because it gets so chilly. Luckily enough for me, I can wear my favorite pair of jeans almost right when I get back, without having to worry about being too hot.
This Fashionista is rocking her light wash ripped jeans with a high-neck cropped white tank top. She paired this look with and a thin flannel and her white low-top Converse. She also threw on her gray backpack with lace accents to carry all of her essentials in. I absolutely love this look for an end of the summer/fall look, because it is so versatile. If you’re feeling chilly, you can put the flannel over your tank top, or if you are feeling hot, you can tie it around your waist for a really fun and casual look. This is a great outfit for back to school that anyone can rock and look #RAD in.
One Simple Change:Â If you attend a school where you can wear shorts in December without catching hypothermia (lucky you), then trade the ripped jeans in for a pair of cut-off jean shorts to stay cool in the heat.
