Spending the day in the Hamptons calls for the perfect outfit. I always like to look my best because you never know who you’re going to run into. This summer I’ve been finding myself wearing a lot of T-shirt dresses. They are so easy to dress up or stay casual. T-shirt dresses are easy breezy and super comfortable, which is always a plus especially in the hot weather this summer. Whoever came up with combining a T-shirt with a dress is a genius. T-shirt dresses have been a huge trend this summer and I love it!
When I was picking out my outfit for spending the day in the Hampton’s kate spade gave me some inspiration. Her kate spade New York spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection is made up of fun patterns and colors. This collection is classic with a twist. Look 19 from the collection is the perfect combination of casual chic. The thick striped T-shirt dress and flat sandals were the perfect outfit for me to look fashionable walking, shopping and brunching in the Hamptons.
To imitate this look from the collection I paired a striped cream and charcoal T-shirt dress from Forever 21 with black thong sandals. To add the chic factor into my look I slicked my hair back into a ponytail and added a pair of Ray-Ban aviators. Lastly to accessorize, to added a black Céline tote and gold Alex and Ani bracelets to complete my look. I beat the heat but kept it trendy.
