One of my favorite styles for summer in the city is and has always been boho-chic. The bohemian vibe is so relaxed and easy going and truly has such a comfort level to it without being sloppy. Recently my mother went on a vacation and found me this little dress that I fell in love with. I decided to take the bohemian vibe from the Etro runway show and apply it to my own look by adding a twist to it. Every look in the Etro collection screams boho, but each look has a level of sophistication to it, and that is what I tried to achieve with my look.
I paired this printed three-quarter sleeve, flowy mini dress with some platform heels and simplistic jewelry to achieve my look. I love the contrast between the delicate paisley print on the dress and the chunky heels that I purchased. I used two different necklaces in this look, both in silver. One was shorter and one was longer which added more interest to the look without being over powering,
One of my favorite things to do is contrast clothing items as well as styles within one look, and that is my advice to my fellow Fashionistas out there. Don’t be afraid to wear sneakers with a dress, mix masculine elements with feminine elements, pair delicate and edgy. You will have so much fun with your style when you take those risks.
