Hey there, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Alexandra and I am a junior at the University of South Florida. I am a Mass Communications major with a concentration in Magazine Journalism, which I plan on using to pursue my dream of thriving in the fashion journalism industry. Ultimately, I have the goal of moving to a big city like New York, where fashion is everywhere. I have had a deep-rooted love for fashion for as long as I can remember and it is my favorite form of self-expression. I am a firm believer that what people wear and how they present themselves says a whole lot about them.
I have had a major fashion transformation this summer, although my style has always been ever-changing and evolving along with me. Now, if I had to describe my personal style, I would say that it is somewhere in between boho-chic and soft grunge. I almost always go heavy on the accessories with an armful of bangles and an array of rings and midi-rings scattered across my fingers. Staples in my wardrobe include crop tops, flower crowns, rompers and a lot of black.
Shopping is one of my favorite past times, along with drinking copious amounts of iced coffee and posting to my blog. When I am not on-campus, you can almost always find me exploring downtown Tampa and the surrounding areas.
Have a RAD semester—I can’t wait to spend mine scouting out Fashionistas!
