Well. I truly can’t believe this is my last STYLE GURU BIO. I could not have asked for a better company to work for, and I will be forever grateful for how much CollegeFashionista has helped me grow as a writer, businesswoman and fashion influencer. Because of CollegeFashionista, even though I am graduating in December, I am graduating with confidence and skills that will give me a head start in my career.
Okay, okay, enough with the tears. Hi! My name is Gabrielle Piloto. I am a senior at the University Of Florida studying Telecommunications Management, with a minor in Dance and a concentration in Business. This is my seventh and final semester as a Style Guru and I am so excited to be able to scout out and share amazing fashion on my campus for the final time. One thing that I have absolutely loved about interning at CollegeFashionista is that I have been able to communicate so much more effectively and confidently with people who I don’t know. I thought walking up to strangers and asking to take a picture of them was the weirdest, strangest thing two years ago; now I love that exhilarating feeling.
My style has evolved quite a bit over college, but like my outfit today, I love neutral, simplistic looks, with touches of chicness. Today, I am wearing a white and black striped pocket T-shirt paired with hunter green cotton twill shorts. I finished off the look with my everyday jewelry, tan ankle-strap sandals and my favorite new addition to my closet, a Madewell tan leather cross-body bag. I added my “chicness” with NARS “Cruella” velvet matte lip pencil and tortoise shell sunglasses with blue reflective lenses.
I feel like I started with CollegeFashionista yesterday, and now I am about to graduate. Time flies by when you’re having fun (and finding crazy stylish people)! I hope you enjoy my articles and fabulous fashion finds on the UF campus this semester.
