Hey there, Fashionistas/os! I’m super excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista family once again this fall semester and continue the expansion of my knowledge of the fashion world. Summer in the small city of La Crosse, Wisconsin has been eventful and I am happy to say that I have been kept on my toes with CollegeFashionista, work and summer classes.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a junior at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, majoring in English with an emphasis in writing and rhetoric. I am also minoring in Philosophy. I am currently pursuing a career in journalism and am the creator of my own on-campus, student-run organization, Sonder Magazine. One day, I would like to write for a fashion publication, though my dream job would be to be the next Grace Coddington (who wouldn’t want to be her?).
My style has continued to grow and evolve. Fall is one of my favorite seasons for fashion. The promise of bulky sweaters, beanies and the multiple types of jeans is making me antsy for the cold to settle in and the leaves to start to change into their bold, bright hues. Also, the rich and classic colors of maroon, cream and, of course, black are something everyone should be ready for, as they will be in full force come the first day of class.
As for me, this semester you can expect me to attempt to delve into and experiment with the uber cool, city street style look. I hope you’ll follow me on my adventure, as well as RAD my articles! I hope you have a very fashionable, successful semester and thanks for tuning in!
