Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Janelle Canopy and I am starting my second semester with CollegeFashionista. So much has changed since writing my first Style Guru Bio. I am still the small town girl in love with everything fashion, but now entering my junior year at the University of Illinois. I have made so many good memories and have grown so much, both personally and professionally.
I think that my personal style has stayed pretty consistent over the last few years, but I adapt trendy items into my closet full of classic pieces. I am a jeans type of girl and I always have a of stylish pair sneakers on my feet. I believe that a somewhat prudish closet is sexy and that less is always more. My style is kept simple and clean. You will most likely find me in some form of black but you never know, maybe you’ll catch me in something a little more noteworthy.
This may be my second semester with CollegeFashionista, but I am just as excited now as I was when I started last spring! I have learned so much from this internship and I cannot wait for what else it will bring my way. I am excited for all the incredible outfits that my fellow Fighting Illini will show me and what else I will learn from the CollegeFashionista family. I hope my peers are ready for another semester of photo shoots and me talking their ears off about runway trends, because it is for sure going to happen. Be prepared Illinois, because I’m coming for you!
