With April finally here, I know we can all expect a ton of rain for the remainder of the month. Just because you checked the news and see a storm approaching doesn’t mean you have to throw on sweats! As designer Karl Lagerfeld once said, “sweatpants are a sign of defeat.” No one wants to look defeated, so toss the sweatpants back in your drawer and throw on a pair of jeans!

Her Hunter boots are a must for the entire month of April, so keep those by the door! My two favorite parts of this Fashionista’s look are her bold necklace and military jacket. Her entire outfit is very casual, yet the necklace brings in a bit of elegance. A military jacket is an incredible piece to have in your closet for any occasion. It can be worn on any rainy day but also on a beautiful spring day as well with a casual dress underneath!
How To: For starters, on any college campus you need a really solid pair of rain boots and a reliable umbrella. I’ll tell you from experience that you absolutely do not want to get caught in the middle of campus with no umbrella! Next throw on your favorite pair of jeans and pair it with a comfortable shirt and military jacket. Now you are ready to take on the storm and look cute doing it!
