It’s me again! Being home on Long Island, we are not exactly used to warm weather in the winter. With that being said, we Style Gurus are going to take full advantage of having temperatures in the mid 50s in January!
No jacket no problem! This Fashionista is showing some skin in her winter look. Her sweater features an off the shoulder neck line, with the addition of a wide bell sleeve. It is a cream-colored cable knit, giving it just enough comfort and warmth for the fall-like temperatures. She shows that she’s on trend with her black, suede over-the-knee boots. The neutral black and white colors and light denim combo give this look a hint of simplicity. While neutrals are always a safe bet and a staple in everyone’s closet, who really wants to play it safe?
While this Fashionista knew she had a rockin’ outfit already, it just wasn’t enough for her. She knew it needed a little extra something to fit her personal style. To add a little flare to her outfit, she needed to glam it up with some accessories! Though they be but little, they are fierce! While she didn’t go overboard, her little additions were the perfect solution to go from bland to glam. From the wide brim hat, to the delicate floral choker, and the gold detail in her clutch she was ready to hit the streets with confidence.
While this warm weather can’t last forever, the power to accessorize can! As Oscar de la Renta said, “Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself.” Don’t be afraid to show off your personal style in the details of your daily ensemble. Go ahead—sweat the small stuff!
