Hello, Fashionistas! Today I present to you a pretty popular item: bomber jackets. Presidents, heroes and rebels popularized them back in the ’80s, and now they have come back again to our wardrobes.
What I love about bombers is how versatile they are. Plus, they always give a stylish look! You can wear them on a normal class day, like this Fashionista, or over a dress for a more special outfit.
When I first saw this Fashionista’s outfit, I fell in love with the bomber she was wearing. Her’s is from Free People, but right now they are pretty easy to find in popular stores such as Topshop or Forever 21. I love the print on it and how it makes it a very unique and original garment without looking too ornate.
I think that when wearing this type of jacket, it should be the outstanding item in your outfit. Everything else should be kept simple. In this case, this Fashionista did a great job when trying to keep warm by using different layers, but at the same time being able to mix and match denim and cotton textures and colors. I love the fact that you can see her denim shirt and camouflage shirt, too. I would say she manages to make the outfit original but not overloaded.
When talking about the bottom part of her outfit, she also gives it the perfect touch. As bombers are a sporty jacket, nothing is more perfect than adding a pair of Converse. In this particular case, she took a risk and tried it with very feminine socks that, to me, as a whole just looks perfect!
How To: When choosing the right bomber, I would rather go for the floral print ones or embellished ones, since I’m personally in love with them. As a tip, I would recommend wearing them with a ponytail or a a big tall bun, just as this Fashionista did. We want everybody to see how beautiful our new bomber jacket is!
