An ’80s throwback and ’90s comeback: The necktie is back, baby, and Calvin Kleins are too. Bandana neckties are now the new chokers, and to be honest, it took a while for them to grow on me, but they’re back and this Fashionista wears it well.
In terms of trendiness, this outfit has much to offer. Overexposed Calvin Kleins are the happening thing again (thank you ’90s), and I’ve got to say, I’m about it. It stimulates such an edgy look with the thick elastic waistband and is so aesthetically pleasing for those of us who still crave those ’90s trends. The tied off yellow T-shirt accentuates the visual appeal of her black western belt. (Side note: everyone needs a western belt in their life, so take advantage of the opportunity and go out and get one.) It literally can make any outfit look like a million bucks.
It’s been said that many people hype up the idea of trying to look their most fashionable no matter what the cost. However, the cost should matter. I’ve learned comfort and fashion go hand-in-hand. It’s so important to be just as comfortable in what you’re wearing, as you are fashionable. As seen on this Fashionista, she chose to keep it comfortable in her Adidas. Casual sneakers can never steer you wrong for the very reason of them being perfectly comfortable and fashion forward. They can virtually go with anything, and there are so many options to choose from whether you keep it classic with some Converse or spice things up with something more high end; sneakers are where it’s at.
As you can see, the older trends are slowly sneaking back into our latest fashions and quite frankly, I’m loving it. Are you feeling the ’90s yet? If not, catch the vibe, Fashionistas.
