Amidst finals and the frosty weather, what’s better than a study session at Starbucks? Seattle is the hometown of this successful coffee brand and it’s a student’s best friend. I find myself and all of my friends not only using it as a study spot but also a great environment to catch up drinking their specialty: seasonal beverages. Walking through the door and being immersed with the warm glow whilst unwrapping myself from my scarf is almost a ritual. Whether it be a before class pick-me-up or late night run, it’s a must! Keeping warm, getting the much needed dose of caffeine, and being comfy is the best recipe for a good time.
I found this cutie at the coffeeshop and loved all the little details in her outfit! When I’m studying, the last thing I want to be is distracted by an itchy shirt or anything uncomfortable, and I think she pulls off the look of athleisure so well. I chatted with her a bit and discussed our mutual love of neutral colors and the new rise of athletic leisure clothing. Neutrals are a beautiful and also quiet statement that is a go-to!
This sweet athleisure look is consisted of a neutral shark bite quarter-sleeve, a pair of skinny black leggings, quilted sneakers, and a dainty bracelet. The crop top beautifully allows her to show off her waist and add figure. My favorite part of her style were the little details. What spices and customizes this outfit was the beautiful Washington bracelet and sneakers. Her sister who attends a college in a different state, gifted her the bracelet, and had a heart stamped on Washington and one on the state she’s in. Talk about sister goals! Another spunky detail is the quilted material on the sneakers. It’s a great way to be different without making a big statement.
The school year is an amazing time to learn new things, including how to incorporate fun quirks to an outfit that make it you! I’ll definitely use this as a reminder that not everything is about the big pieces and sometimes the little things are the best way to show personality.
