In today’s generation, sneakers are a staple for any and every college student out there. And who knew that a shoe brand form the 1920s could make such a comeback? As if the title doesn’t already give it away, I am most definitely referring to Converse shoes.
What originally started off as a canvas basketball sneaker is now fashion statement. They are shoes that are made for both males and females and can be worn for anything. Shopping, out to dinner, running errands, listening to music, going to work or adventuring outside—just throw on a pair and you can do whatever you want in them. I remember getting my very first pair of high-top hot pink Converse sneakers at the age of nine. I never thought that 11 years later I would walk into Journey’s and still purchase the same exact ones. High-top or low-top, beginning of the rainbow or end, you can find Converse in any color, which makes buying a pair that much more exciting. And not to mention, you can even customize your own!
