With the cooler start to summer, Fashionistas across upstate New York have to bend current fashion trends in order to be comfortable in the cooler weather. Booties have become extremely trendy recently and I am ready to go out and buy a million new pairs. Not only are they very comfortable, but they can make any simple outfit look as if you just stepped off of the runway.
This Fashionista is wearing brown peep toe booties with an adorable cutout design. These are a versatile wardrobe piece because they can be worn with jeans, a sundress or so much more! Booties can also be found in so many different styles and colors making them extremely useful. Another way I find them versatile is the way they fit many different styles. Depending on the booties you wear and the way you style them you can change your look from hipster to preppy in a snap.

In this case she styled her booties with a pair of black jeggings, an olive tank top and an adorable jean jacket. The use of neutral colors allows her to carry trends from season to season. It is also possible to shift this look from day to night by getting rid of the jean jacket and adding a chunky statement necklace. This summer I have also become obsessed with sundresses.
