My experience at Temple University has been a memorable one thus far. I have met amazing souls from all walks of life. I have also seen so many Fashionistas/os that I would like to feature in my articles. The fashion on my campus ranges from bohemian to urban to just plain RAD. My eyes are always drawn to the little pieces that make an outfit magically stand out. I think it is important that as college students we dress in pieces that make us feel impeccable from head to toe. It is our time now, as college students, to experiment with different styles and step out of our comfort zones. You never know what type of clothing items you could be turning heads with next.
I recently came across another Fashionista in my residence hall who also happens to be my room advisor. She was kind enough to let me photograph her and capture the essence of her style. The details of her look usually include a floral headband, strappy shoes and accent bracelets. This outfit can be worn comfortably throughout the day for class and other events. A flowy shirt is also perfect for getting lunch with friends because you can eat all you want without the appearance of a food baby. The crocheted embroidering on this Fashionista’s top gives it a free-spirited feel while the shorts make the look effortless and perfect for any summer day. Her shoes keep the outfit dainty while still making a statement. These shoes are a viable alternative to any sandal and are perfect for walking around on campus.
I am looking forward to seeing many more Fashionistas around campus and featuring them in my articles. There is an eclectic range of styles on my campus that should all be recognized for their creativity and inspiration.
