Here at the University of South Carolina, February can mean bundling up in a heavy coat and boots or it can mean putting on some sandals and a breezy top. The weather can change in a split second and, luckily, this Valentine’s Day was one of those springy, warm, and comfortable days.
This Fashionista was heading to happy hour at a popular Mexican restaurant called Cantina 76 for a “galentine’s” celebration with her best friends to grab some quick margaritas. After that she was making her way to a nice dinner date at Liberty, a restaurant located in the Vista, with her boyfriend to celebrate Valentine’s Day. With a busy day like this, it’s important to pick the right outfit that can go from one occasion to the next.
With that being said, this Fashionista took a great approach for a casual outfit with some trendy accessories that can go from late afternoon to evening. The details of the outfit like the accessories take it to the next level. She is wearing a flower-printed, off-the-shoulder top from Nordstrom with light wash jeans. To spice up the outfit she added some fabulous jewelry like the gold choker, a stack of Alex and Ani bracelets, beaded bracelets from Puerto Rico, a Claddagh ring, and triangle stone earrings. The finishing touch to the outfit were the Steve Madden, lace-up, kitten-heeled sandals and the all-black Ray-Ban sunglasses. This Fashionista did a great job of blending the casual outfit with elegant accessories. So here’s to discovering your inner chic!
