As the weather ramps up, it can get more and more difficult to stay fashionable and warm at the same time. As I’ve learnt, it’s all about spicing up the basics and giving simple outfits your own unique flair, be it a statement necklace or some bold print.  My lovely model Paige is definitely serving a look, to say the least. It’s a perfectly executed combination of classic styles: monochrome and metal. She’s paired comfy leggings (a college outfit staple), an edgy mesh top ( RiRi would approve of) and most importantly a toasty puffer jacket with a fur hood to top it all off because warmth is key with Canadian winters. If you find a larger jacket too heavy, layering with thermals, long sleeve tops and materials like cashmere and wool always helps.
Trainers are great because they provide mobility and comfort simultaneously meaning you’ll always be ready to spring into action if you need to run to a lecture or catch the bus on a busy day they’ve got you covered.
Lastly, to add a touch of personality, she layered some dainty rose gold and silver, necklaces. Yes, people, mixed metals can look cute together! Fashion is about being different, rules in fashion are made to be broken, challenged and remolded. Think of fashion rules as recommendations or suggestions.
