Warmer days are fast approaching here in Florida, but there is still time to break out those long sleeve tops and boots. As we get closer to the middle of a busy spring semester, it is easy to put fashion on the back burner. This is why I love finding those stand-out looks on campus that have more to offer than what originally meets the eye.
What stood out to me about this Fashionista is that she was starting off a Friday in the middle of February on a bright note by wearing a unique and personalized outfit. It is the perfect example of how the detailing in the clothing pieces and accessories can go a long way when putting together a look.
My first impression about this Fashionista is that she has a classy style, and I love how her outfit has a theme. As you can see, she is wearing a long sleeve elephant print top and is carrying a cup that has elephants on it. There is no better way to make an outfit more fun than to wear your favorite animal. To complete the elephant apparel, she is wearing light-wash jeans and black ankle booties – with just the right amount of heel, yet still comfortable! Her silver and gold bracelet watch adds the perfect amount of shimmer to glam up the outfit.
This ensemble shows how simple outfits can be jazzed up with the right details, which can tie a look together and make it come to life. The best Fashionista/os will always put in the extra effort to strategically plan outfits that have matching elements and have a theme—something that is best done when animal prints are involved!
