Winter has officially started here in Cincinnati and if you guys are anything like me, you probably struggle with winter fashion. But just because the weather is cooling down doesn’t mean we have to completely disregard our style! Let’s just start with saying that I am completely and utterly obsessed with this embroidery trend. It’s popping up everywhere and in so many different options; jackets, denim, shoes and handbags.
This Fashionista has such a great sense of style. She has many staple pieces but finds the perfect statement pieces to complement her closet. A prime example is this jacket. She got this gorgeous silk embroidered jacket from London when she visited recently. As soon as I saw it, I was immediately inspired. She wears this jacket with slim fit black denim and a fitted black tank top so the royal blue silk has no choice but to stand out. Who would have thought that royal blue would work so well for winter?!
The embroidery work consists of different floral patters and dragons made up of primary colors, so they all complement one another. To accessorize, she wears her Coach bag and heels. The oxblood and black colors on her handbag bring the outfit together as a winter look. This Fashionista shows us exactly how to spruce up an all black wardrobe that we all know and love. Every time she wears this jacket out, she is stopped more than once by other Fashionistas/os that are looking to duplicate her look.
Sometimes less is more and embroidery is such a great way for any Fashionista to make a statement. It’s a small detail that makes a loud declaration.
