The fall weather has officially set in and it seems like everyone is officially ready for sweater and boot season, and I can fully relate. There is something about the fall season that is just undeniably cozy and comforting. Maybe it’s the chill in the air, the hot apple cider, pumpkin spice lattes or the crunch of the leaves under our booties we just pulled out for the season (yay!).
This Fashionista pulled together everything we love about fall into one outfit: turtlenecks, sweaters, boots and warm socks. This fall, turtlenecks have definitely made their way back around. I think that it can give even the most simplistic outfit so much detail. This Fashionista’s top not only had the cowl neck detailing, but also incorporated a waffle knit pattern as well as an asymmetrical cut on the bottom of the shirt, which takes a simple shirt and turns it into such a unique piece. To accompany the uniqueness of the shirt, this Fashionista added black riding boots with a simple gold zipper detailing on the sides and even took it a step further by letting her socks peek out of the top of the boots. She added some extra accessories through her gold watch and turquoise earrings, really pulling the whole outfit together.
I think that the fall season is one of the easiest seasons to really be able to express yourself through your clothing. Between layering and adding different accessories, it is so easy to make your style your own and I think that is my favorite part about this season. So Fashionistas, go out there and make your campus your runway this fall!
