With the cold weather slowly creeping upon us, it is finally time to put away those tank tops and take out those sweaters. There is a slight crisp breeze in the air, and here in California, it’s finally the start of fall. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because I think the temperature is absolutely perfect. You’re not profusely sweating and you’re also not freezing from the snow. This season brings out some of the best colors as well, including, maroon, olive green and chestnut.
In this outfit that I am wearing, I put together this look on Thanksgiving for a night of good eating and family fun. I would also wear this outfit if I was going to spend the day in downtown with friends or going out to a restaurant for lunch. This outfit was perfect because it kept me warm from the cold wind outside, but the look was still cute and fashion forward.
For this look, I am wearing a dark maroon sweater from Old Navy. It is not too thick of a material, and it is not too thin either. The sweater also has some detailing in the front as well. I paired the sweater with ripped jeans from Charlotte Russe. Sometimes I do not like wearing jeans, but this is my favorite pair because they are extremely comfortable. The stretchiness of the jeans are perfect and I love the rips in the front of them. For my shoes, I am wearing a pair of brown lace up booties from Steve Madden. Booties are definitely in this season, every single girl in my sorority has a pair. The hat that I am wearing is from H&M, and it is a part of their Coachella collection. Lastly, I decided to tie the whole look together by putting on a creme-colored faux fur vest from Forever 21.
The entire look would definitely not be complete without the faux fur vest. This ties everything together and makes the whole outfit look complete and put together. Faux fur is also definitely in style this year, it is such a cute way to make a fashion statement on your campus. I have received many compliments on my outfits whenever I wear this vest, so I definitely recommend having at least one faux fur vest or jacket.
This fall outfit is perfect for the next upcoming weeks of more chilly weather. You will definitely get heads turning if you’re seen in a well put together outfit versus a hoodie and leggings on campus. This look is absolutely perfect for college girls anywhere!
