Spring quarter syllabus week is almost over and man, has it been a long time coming. For some reason, everyone that I have talked to agrees with me that the days have been exhausting! Maybe it’s the longer days and earlier classes, but the general consensus has been that there is a drain on energy. Classes are piling on more work and social activities are more frequent, but all the more fun! Who else agrees with me that having a busy schedule is almost more satisfying that a relaxing one? With the nicer weather, there has definitely been some beautiful people with beautiful outfits out on the town.
I spotted this Fashionista in the cherry blossoms area and fell in love with her outfit! It screams fall but still works wondrously against the spring flowers. She pairs a dark mustard mock turtleneck with a fitted light-wash denim jacket. It really shows off the unique brown-orange color as well as the varying collar heights. She contrasts her top with a pair of black cropped jeans and chelsea booties. To top off the entire outfit and bring it all together, she sports a Daniel Wellington watch, Alex and Ani bracelets, and a black hat! I love the consistent color palette as it is supported through every detail.
I love spring and all the new beginnings it brings, but I can’t wait for summer! The shorts and tanks, dresses, and swimsuit weather always remind me of fun memories. What are your favorite seasons and how do you style your outfit for them?
