Sometimes looking at the “big picture” isn’t the way to go, think about what you’re missing, all the details. In my opinion the details are the best part. Details are what make something interesting, fun, and different. We would be bored all the time if we just heard the basics of a story or saw the basics of painting, you know just enough to get the idea. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, whoa sorry I just fell asleep on my keyboard thinking about how boring life would be if we never got to see the juicy details of life! So, let us try to remember that all the good stuff is in the details. This is proven true in this Fashionista’s outfit.
Okay, so from afar this outfit looks totally normal, right? A classic white T-shirt and blue jeans, normal. But wait, zoom in a bit, is that a jacket? Wait wait, keep zooming. A vintage jacket? Wait a vintage faux fur sport jacket? Okay, zoom a little more, there you go. Just look at all those details! See? I told you big picture is not the way to go.
This Fashionista is stopping traffic with this vintage coat and I’m obsessed. The jacket is from the ’60s and is lined with a totally retro print silk fabric that makes it one of a kind. It also has black and white drawstrings that take such a fabulous jacket and make it way more street style, and pairing it with a classic jean and T-shirt is the way to go to make a subtle statement while still being the best dressed on the street! She also paired combat boots with a purse of the same color which adds unity to the look. The whole outfit is a neutral color scheme, so the purple bralette with the retro print lining adds a seriously rad pop to the whole look. Even though these are not the first things you see when you look at the outfit, they are the best parts. So remember Fashionistas, always look a little closer!
