Some people save fringe for festival season; I choose to think that those who don’t are wiser. There is just something about this trend that makes every outfit look stylish and versatile, and I just can’t get enough of it. Do you want to know the best part of it? These strappy strings go well with every occasion, add a cool touch to every outfit and look good on everyone!
Even though it might seem like a hard thing to pull off, it’s not because fringe goes well on jackets, skirts, bags and even shoes. Besides looking amazing on basically everything, it also adds a boho feel to every look. So, given that this ’70s trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, I have to admit that I love bumping into Fashionistas who explore it. I was in Brazil when I bumped into this young lady who, apparently (aka clearly), can’t get enough of fringe!
As you can see in the pictures, there is no way she wouldn’t grab my attention; everything about her look was on point, from the amazing bun on her head to her beautiful, vintage round sunglasses. Then, she wore print on print perfectly, matching her flowered kimono with her hippie shorts. To add something simple to her outfit, she threw on a cool, asymmetric, black T-shirt. Not satisfied with all these trends, she decided she would add the cherry on top: fringe on her bag and fringe on her shoes. Needless to say, she nailed this outfit!
