As the fall starts to roll in with cooler temperatures and the leaves start to change, we Fashionista/os have to figure out how to dress for the new season of weather and fashion. With the new season rolling in, it’s important to know what’s trending and how to dress day to day. In this new season, deep necklines followed by accessories are a must. In order to pull off the deep neckline, accessorizing is key, in order to compliment the neckline and add more focus towards the trend.
Layered necklaces are a trend seen from previous seasons, but it’s a look that has really stuck because of what it adds to an outfit. The necklaces help to highlight a neckline, color or even the length of clothing. Similar to the layering of necklaces, felt hats in different shapes and sizes continue to be a trend featured in all seasons. The hats seem to adjust based on the season with colors, details and lengths similar to the season.
As I discussed the importance of accessorizing, it is also important to decide when to accessorize and how to accessorize for each occasion. This Fashionista caught my eye on her way to class in what I call a perfect fall outfit. In this case, the Fashionista was dressing for class, in a simple yet sophisticated outfit. The outfit really caught my eye based on how the outfit was accessorized as well as the color scheme of the fall outfit.
The black, gray and browns utilized in the outfit really help enhance the silver and gold jewelry pieces. The gold layered necklace hits the layering of necklaces trend right on point with the help of the deep neckline the gray waffle knit allows for. The simple gold and silver bracelet helps add simplicity to the outfit making it perfect for an on-the-go student. Following the jewelry is the brown felt hat, which is the perfect fall time hat because of the versatility and warmth it allows for. Finally, the brown booties help to tie the hat in with the deep V-neck shirt, black jeans and jewelry.
