Winter dressing can be tough, especially here in Michigan where it’s windy, snowy and zero degrees out! This Fashionista pulled off an awesome cold-weather look, even on short notice. She was super on trend with her (faux) fur vest, and I love how she accessorized with her belt, which is Lucky Brand circa 1990.
This Fashionista is always caught looking great, and it’s no exception with this outfit. This look would be perfect for a lot of things; from dinner with family to a night out with the girls. The LBD paired with patterned tights, heeled booties, a fur vest and a killer belt made for a great look. I also loved her bracelets—they’re a great way to add a little glitz to any outfit.
It has been said that women used to solely wear black while mourning—and then Coco Chanel came around. Coco popularized the LBD through many spreads in Vouge, and dang am I thankful she did. The LBD is a must in every girls wardrobe.
The classic LBD is always a great look. A simple black dress can make a dramatic statement, but it’s also a great piece to add to and accessorize. I love this (longer, turtlenecked) LBD from Reformation. It’s simple but still makes for a super sophisticated look. An easy twist on the LBD is little black jumpsuit instead. Reformation makes incredible jumpsuits, and I love this flowy frock in particular.
How To: Fur vests can be a hit or a miss. To make for a great look, the proportions of the vest are key. Too little and it can easily look shrunk, but too big and it can look like you’re drowning in a giant piece of fur.
