July certainly is the best time of year for every girl’s favorite thing to do on her spare time—shopping! There always are a bunch of sales going on at every store and if you are a college student you definitely go shopping mainly when there are sales because of the struggle of being broke during the school year. As I was recently shopping, I was thinking about school and wondering what could be something new I could add to my look? Or what can make any of my outfits better? That’s when I spotted this Fashionista whose look made me realize what every girl needs to know to make any of their looks better!
This Fashionista drew my attention in with all her accessories. Her hat and sunglasses are the perfect summer accessories that go well with any outfit because they can create a huge fashion statement to the simplest look. She added more edge to her look with her unique choker and jewelry. I was a big fan of her jewelry the most because I loved how she just stacked a ton of bangles and wore a few rings to add the edge in her look. To me, accessories have a power to soften or edge up a look. This Fashionista definitely had an edge to her and that’s all because of all the different accessories she combined.
The rest of this Fashionista’s outfit was very simple. Her white off-the-shoulder top is totally to die for because it is a huge trend for this summer, and she paired it with some simple dark jeans and booties.
What I loved about her outfit was that it was the perfect outfit to pair with all her accessories. There was not too much going on with her outfit, which makes it the best outfit to experiment with whether it be with accessories or makeup. This is the perfect example to show that accessories do change an outfit because without all the accessories, she would’ve shown off a very soft simple look. But, her accessories are what created the edge to her look which drew my attention to walk up to her.
How To: Don’t be afraid to add a bunch of accessories to you look. Wear a simple outfit such as plain jean shorts and a solid color top (it doesn’t matter what color) and just take some bracelets and rings and stack them up a bit. Try starting with a ring on each hand and at least five bracelets on one hand until you get comfortable figuring out a good amount to add to your look and each hand. Don’t forget to add a pair of oversized sunglasses because anyone can rock those.
