My favorite part about fashion is that it’s an art. You can take something as simple as a T-shirt and a pair of destroyed jeans and turn them into a masterpiece; this Fashionista did exactly that. Â She was en route to her internship at BCBG, which is more casual than most, but obviously still requires style. Â It is like she took a blank canvas and splashed it with paint. Â This is what I do every time I get a new pair of shoes or a new piece of jewelry that I want to show off! Â I will wear something simple so my new item can stand out.
However, this outfit is perfect for almost every occasion.  For example, imagine you are asked out on a date by your ultimate crush.  You don’t want to look like you have been planning this outfit for months, but you also don’t want to look like you don’t care at all and put no effort into it. This Fashionista’s accessories are effortlessly chic; she has it down. Turn something as nonchalant as your favorite pair of jeans and a plain white T-shirt into an outfit that will help you kill it anywhere.  You can do this by adding a pair of casual heels or a statement necklace.
I have a few great pairs of standout shoes that I love and most of them are Dolce Vita. The DV designers are innovative and brilliant and somehow find a way to make beautiful pairs of shoes that size up to a fancy night out but can also complement your most casual staples in your closet. Our Fashionista is wearing Kendra Scott jewelry that quite literally sparkles up the outfit.  She also added a set of bangles she found at a flee market and her classic Michael Kors tote to bring the whole outfit together.
How to: Pick a necklace that stands out to spice up your casual look.  If you don’t feel comfortable wearing stilettos, pick up a pair of block heel booties!
