Fall and winter have always been my favorite time of year because I love to add many different layering pieces and accessories to my outfits. In the summertime, it can become so hot that all I want to do is throw on a tank top and shorts. Once the temperatures begin to drop, I love adding on my favorite fall/winter accessories! It gives you that little extra pop you need for your outfit and it isn’t hard to do! Taking your favorite staple items from your closet such as a scarf or cardigan and adding it to your look can bring your outfit to another level. It’s all about the accessories.

Blanket scarves are a must-have for the winter season and can be tied in various different ways.
Another huge accessory trend this season is the big floppy hat seen worn by this Fashionista. These floppy hats were popular over the summer and have continued over into the fall/winter season! They are year-round and are the perfect accessory for anyone who wants to add another accessory to their outfit. I always imagine going to a winery or outdoor venue while wearing this hat. It’s the perfect accessory for any outdoor event. I love how this Fashionista added her floppy hat to this look because the colors in the hat were also in the scarf, which tied it all together! To complete her look, she added gold accessories and a nice black pair of ankle booties. Ankle booties are great boots to wear with your favorite cuffed jeans. This gives your outfit more edge while staying sophisticated and fashion-forward!
